“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.”

Approach

Research-driven and experimental design approachesMy work stems from the intersection of architecture, art and experimentation. It is a constantly evolving journey, in which the project becomes a tool for exploring new possibilities at the intersection of form, material and technology.

Today, through my studies in sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, I am exploring a more physical and sensory dimension of creation, examining the relationship between the body, material and process. My work thrives on contrasts: digital and tangible, precision and imperfection, control and discovery.

After years of experience in Italy and Sweden, I chose to establish my own research space with Nina Songhori Atelier, a place where the project becomes a laboratory. Here I explore new possibilities at the intersection of computational design, fabrication and materials, with a particular focus on 3D printing as an expressive as well as a productive tool.

Curiosity is my driving force. I believe in learning as a continuous practice and in experimentation as a necessary act. For me, every project is an open-ended process, a dialogue between idea and material, between what I imagine and what takes shape.
