Computational Design & VR Visualization Workshop (2017)
Overview
In 2017, an intensive technical workshop was organized to explore the intersection of computational architecture, parametric modeling, and immersive VR visualization.
Process & Methodology
Participants utilized Rhino and Grasshopper to parametrically design and model complex tower facades, delving into algorithmic form-finding and structural optimization.
Beyond standard 3D modeling, the workflow integrated advanced visualization and rendering software—including KeyShot, Cinema 4D, and specialized VR engines—to translate parametric concepts into immersive Virtual Reality (VR) environments. This enabled attendees to step inside the virtual space and observe their structural creations, gaining a clear 360-degree visual understanding of the architectural scale, facade components, and spatial volume.
Topic: Parametric Facade Design & Immersive Architectural VR VisualizationMaterials: PLA, Plaster
