.VISION AIR.
2024 / Italy
In response to the theme ‘UTOPIA’ proposed by INOUT The Contract Community in the Rooms event, I felt the need to respond by reaching out to a personal and political vision. Utopia, as an ideal of a perfect society, contrasts markedly with contemporary reality, especially in light of recent events in my home country of Iran. This dichotomy between the ideal and reality is the beating heart of my installation.
‘Vision-air’ presents a visual commentary on the inconsistencies and contradictions of the international political world. While utopia represents harmony, fairness, and peace, reality, all too often, shows us a picture of inequality, injustice, and conflict. This contrast is enhanced through the use of transparent materials and colored fragments, representing the fragility and complexity of our world.
I intend to invite the visitor to deep reflection. Believing firmly in the power of art as a catalyst for change and awareness, I hope this installation can serve as a starting point for broader discussions about the human condition and our collective desire for a better world.

INSTALLATION
Composed of translucent vertical panels, the installation celebrates freedom and possibility. Their transparency and vibrant colors create a sense of openness, inviting visitors to imagine worlds beyond existing limits.
At the top, suspended colored fragments appear to dissolve into the air, symbolizing continuous transformation and the power of utopian thinking to transcend boundaries. A cloud element reminds us that this vision remains, ultimately, a dream.
COLLABORATION WITH AI
A key aspect of the project was the exploration of Artificial Intelligence as a creative collaborator rather than a simple tool. Architect Nina Songhori engaged in a dialogue with AI around the concept of utopia, extending the discussion to architecture, materials, and future possibilities.
The ideas generated through this exchange were then translated into visual representations using AI image-generation tools. By connecting different AI systems and integrating their outputs, the project revealed new forms of collaboration between human creativity and machine intelligence.
VIRTUAL REALITY
The installation was narrated and developed in a virtual environment by Studio Microchaos. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the dialogue between the architect and AI, experiencing the evolution of ideas firsthand.
Through a dedicated virtual world, each stage of the creative process is presented and explained, offering insight into both the final work and the thinking behind it. Virtual reality becomes a bridge between creator, project, and audience.
SPONSORS
The realisation of VISION-AIR was the result of synergetic work between various professionals and companies, whose commitment and skill brought this artistic vision to life. First of all, special thanks go to the company MA.PE. System Srl, which supplied and processed the plexiglass with great skill, allowing us to translate the conceived idea into reality. The architectural design, under the guidance of architect Nina Songhori, found the perfect balance with the engineering skills of Engineer Alessandro Ricci, guaranteeing the solidity and functionality of the installation. Thanks to Studio Microchaos, we were able to bring this project into an immersive dimension, not just as a simple video, but a true virtual reality experience that allows visitors to see the creative process. Concluding our journey, the lighting played a key role, and for this we are deeply grateful to Puraluce, the company that gave the installation its brilliant magnificence. Our gratitude also goes to all these entities such as EN Space network, IEGexpo and TTG Travel Experience, whose dedication made VISION-AIR possible.
